EV-Related Public Policy in the States
Atlas tracks public policy in the states related to the EV market. We assembled all of the relevant policies in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuel Data Center in an easy to use dashboard, so you can find what you’re looking for quickly. We also supplement the AFDC database with policies identified by the EV Hub community and added significant detail to state EV incentives, a critical policy.
We can easily integrate these policies with other datasets on the Hub (state EV sales, charging infrastructure, etc.), so please let us know your suggestions!
This 4-page dashboard includes:
A map of EV-related policies by state with brief descriptions and links. You can filter by state, date enacted, and policy.
A focus on state financial incentives compared to state-level EV sales. A table is included with all the details about the incentive. You can filter by whether the policy is active, vehicle technology, state, date enacted or date ended.
The ratio of battery electric and plug-in hybrid electric adoption by 1,000 people. You can filter by policy.
Interactive database of all EV-related policies on the EV Hub.
