The Volkswagen Settlement Clearinghouse is a resource for state and local government offices and agencies as they develop plans and implement projects under the settlement’s Environmental Mitigation Trust, and coordinate with Volkswagen subsidiary Electrify America on zero-emission vehicle infrastructure investments. The Clearinghouse provides foundational information on the settlement, as well as tools and resources states may use to learn more about eligible projects and develop investment strategies to support the alternative fuels market, reduce mobile source emissions, and further state economic development, environmental, and energy efficiency goals.
The VW Clearinghouse is a collaborative effort of the National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) and the National Association of Clean Air Agencies (NACAA), who are supporting their state members as they weigh investment options under the VW settlement. The VW Clearinghouse website was created by Atlas Public Policy.
